We have just finished our sixth month of competition and while we have not been around as long as other groups, the contest continues to grow with over 1200 members now. The March contest officially had 452 entries, which is a little less than previous months, but the quality of the submissions has really improved. In my opinion, a world of talent resides at the World Artists Contest and the rest of the world is starting to notice. How Was the Winner Determined? We enlisted the help of a group of independent judges and had each one submit their top FIVE images. From those top images we looked for the artist who received the most selections by a judge and this gave us 27 artists who received votes and TWO top artists with the same number of votes. We then asked our judges to review the pieces submitted by these TWO finalists and submit one piece as their favorite, which gave us our winner.
