
The artwork of Ben M. Arthur of Montgomery, Alabama, will be on display as part of the 20th Annual Creativity Exhibit and Art Sale. This year’s theme is, “Creativity – Art in the Magic City” and is put on by VSA Alabama. The exhibit will be held at the AT&T Alabama Operations Center in Birmingham, on April 24th, 2012, and will start at 5:30pm. It will be free and open to the public. “Ben’s personal story is quite inspirational and he has a very unique style to his work. We encourage everyone to attend this event and meet Ben in person,” said Peter K Yanke of World Artists Corporation, who represents the artist. Ben is also a published author who was recently recognized by the state of Alabama, and also teaches and inspires others to paint as part of their recovery process.
About Ben M. Arthur – Ben is an artist, poet, musician and author from Montgomery, Alabama, who has overcome many challenges in his life. His artwork has been displayed across Alabama and in the State Capitol, and covers painting, pen and ink drawings and other styles. Ben’s achievements include his 2006 book, “A Simple Twist of Fate,” and an award-winning song called “Lifetime.”
