DonJon Vonavich of Austin, Texas, has signed with the creative management agency, World Artists Corporation (WAC). WAC will provide management, publishing, marketing, promotion and other services.
“DonJon’s eclectic writing style culminates from his vast life experiences, and may be some the best literary work of the 21st century,” said WAC Executive Director, Peter K Yanke. DJ, as he is known to many of his followers, has been primarily a self-published author to this point, and will immediately become part of the growing WAC family of authors, artists, musicians and other creatives. DonJon is a "life artist." Proclaiming, “life is my canvas,” he has amassed an extensive portfolio that includes three major road trip projects, two runs for president of the United States, a cross country bicycle adventure, numerous creative-living installations, major works in oil on canvas, an animated cartoon series, and an episodic novel titled, "The KING of MO: An Autobiography of a Dream." His work is documented with over one hundred hours of video, three hundred thousand words of text, ten thousand still photographs, hundreds of original graphics, dozens of visual works in various mediums, and the largest art bus on the highway (60 ft).
In a separate statement, DonJon confirmed the agreement saying, “2012 was a seminal year for me, between my novel and my bid for the presidency. I am proud to be part of the growing list of talent at WAC, and look forward to working with them. The partnership will allow me to focus on what I do best, create.”
